Hello and welcome to lightbulb expert! I’m Daniel, the main author behind this website 🙂

I live in and run this site from Stockholm, Sweden which is where I graduated in the program Light planning and Light design at Stockholms Technical Institute. In my later teens, I found an interest in lighting and set a path to continuously learn and increase my knowledge on the topic.

Throughout my studies, I realized that light designing never came super naturally to me. That said I thoroughly enjoy the parts of the program that focused more on the technical aspects of lighting, which is why I eventually decided to dedicate this website to that.

My goal here is to inspire and educate people on lighting since I believe it’s an underrated aspect of our everyday lives.
